Day 47: Legs & Back; Ab Ripper X

I’m happy that I was able to actually get this workout in on Christmas but it was tough today. I did abs earlier in the morning and that went well but I really hate this Leg and Back workout. It just kicks your butt everytime. I always feel like I need a nap afterwards. Tomorrow is Kenpo and then it’s a recovery week.

Day 46: Yoga X

I decided to get my Yoga workout in before work today which meant getting up very early. I don’t think that was the best idea since my body did not like it. I really struggle with it this morning mainly because I think my body was too cold and tight. But as it went on it got better and I’m glad I don’t have to do anything more today. I need to find a way to squeeze in my schedule workouts on Christmas Day. I haven’t missed a day yet and I don’t plan on it!

Day 45: Back & Biceps; Ab Ripper X

I’m halfway done with this first round!!! I made the best of this one and pushed it really hard. I might have popped a blood vessel or two in the process. My biceps are so pumped up. Why can’t they stay like this all the time?! Now the challenge is to get a Christmas Eve and Christmas workout in this week.

Day 44: Plyometrics

Good Plyometrics workout tonight. Got nice and sweaty and made it through comfortably. I’ve come a long way since the first time I tried this workout. Tomorrow I will reach the halfway point!

Day 43: Chest, Shoulders & Triceps; Ab Ripper X

Today’s workout was really good. I improved on most of the exercises except the one-armed pushup! I try but that one is just impossible. I even did the workout pretty early this morning and finished up by 8:45. I just need to keep it up through this holiday week to burn off all the “bad” food I might be eating.

Day 42: X Stretch

Stretching done but my body felt a little tight this morning. Need to go out and clear the driveway soon. I can’t wait for the snow from the snowblower to blow back into my face. Feels so good…not.

Day 41: Kenpo X

Just finished kicking and punching my way through this workout. My favorite part is the Front & Back Knuckles/Ball Kick/Back Kick combination. I still don’t think I get a great cardio workout from this even though I push it pretty hard but it’s fun to do. Stretch day coming up tomorrow.
