Day 29: Chest, Shoulders & Triceps; Ab Ripper X

2

Phase 2 began today with a bang. This was definitely the hardest workout so far. There were 24 different exercises and thankfully each one was only one set. Guess how many one-armed pushups I was able to do? 0.0. Nada. Nothing. Actually if you count me simply collapsing from the floor then maybe we can go with .5 as the number. Maybe after 90 days I’ll be able to get a couple in but it might take another round of P90X to really master those. We’ll have to see. I did the ab workout first and that went really well today. It didn’t feel as hard as it did a week ago. Now I need to rest!

Day 28: X Stretch

2

The recovery week ends today and the hard stuff starts again tomorrow when Phase 2 begins. Another nice hour of stretching today but I know tomorrow is going to be tough.

Day 27: Yoga X

0

Didn’t sleep to well last night so I woke up at 6:30 and got my 90 minutes of Yoga in. I was definitely wide away after about 15 minutes.

Day 26: Core Synergistics

0

This workout was super hard the other day when I first did it but today it was much better. I made it through most of it without too many problems. A couple things I couldn’t do very well but I did the best I could. Going to try to get yoga in early tomorrow morning.

Day 25: X Stretch

0

I can’t believe how much more flexible I have become in the last 3.5 weeks. I couldn’t come close to touching my toes or the floor in some stretches and now I can grab hold of them easily. Today was relaxing but tomorrow is going to suck with Core Synergistics. Working out on a Friday night is not my friend and this workout kicked my butt the other day.

Day 24: Kenpo X

0

This workout is fun but I was kind of disappointed with it tonight. It felt easy. I’m not sure if I was just having an exceptional day or if I’m really actually getting in better shape. I was pushing extra hard to get more out of it. Of course I’m sure the next time I do it I will suck. LOL

Day 23: Core Synergistics

0

I thought this was supposed to be recovery week! This workout was a butt kicker. I thought maybe it was going to be an ab workout but it focused on everything from the chest down to the upper legs. It was a pretty comprehensive all around workout. I was also surprised that it had a cardio component to it as well.
