Day 40: Legs & Back; Ab Ripper X
0Almost half way through the program at this point. Today was tough. I struggled getting through this one for some reason. I think legs and back are my least favorite muscle groups to workout. They also seem to be the most challenging for me. The leg workouts don’t even use a lot of weights but I think maybe it’s the balance thing that drives me nuts. Anyway, it’s done and the fun weekend workouts are ahead of me now.
Day 38: Back & Biceps; Ab Ripper X
0We had our holiday lunch today at work so I ate a little bit more than I would have liked today. But I didn’t eat to the point of exploding, just enough to feel satisfied. Today’s workout wasn’t too bad. I paced myself a bit and paused it a few times. I also don’t feel as tired today as I have the last few days. It was fun posing in the mirror after I worked out because it looked like I had tennis balls for biceps. I just hope they become permanent fixtures one day soon. I did the ab workout this morning and have begun to do the more advanced versions of some of the exercises since the standard ones are starting to get “easy”.
Day 37: Plyometrics
1I had a vacation day today but had a crazy day. I managed to get my Plyo workout in but kept getting interrupted. I’ve noticed the last couple of days that I’ve been getting really tired late in the afternoon. I’m not quite sure why. Maybe I’m not eating enough carbs. I guess I’ll have to work on that.
