This was the workout that killed me two weeks ago. I did a lot better with it today. I needed to pause if for a couple minutes about 40 minutes into it though. In the past, I would do as many unassisted pullups as I could and then use the chair for the remaining seconds. Today I decided to ditch the chair altogether. Instead, I would take a few seconds break after the unassisted one and then just try to squeak out a few more during the remaining time of each set. Also, this was the second workout that I used the pushup bars. Using them must be harder since I wasn’t able to do as many reps with them. However, I have a feeling they were more effective since I seem to get a little deeper when I used them. The ab workout was great. I really feel I’ve mastered that one pretty well at this point. Each time I do it I try to add some element to make it a little harder. I’m convince I have abs of steel underneath the remaining layer of flab on my belly!
