Day 82: Legs & Back; Ab Ripper X

I definitely didn’t bring it 100% with tonights Legs & Back workout. I just wasn’t feeling it tonight. I hung in there for the whole hour but didn’t really push it too hard. I was feeling really tired and my balance felt all off tonight with the lunges. The morning ab workout went well though. I think a week of good workouts just kind of wore me out and there wasn’t much left in the tank for this one. Tomorrow is Kenpo which will be fun and then I start the final recovery week.

Day 81: Yoga X

Good Yoga workout tonight. I felt pretty stable throughout and even more flexible than the last time. I think I have two more of these yoga workouts left next week before I hit 90 days.

Day 80: Back & Biceps; Ab Ripper X

I did the ab workout this morning when I woke up. Nothing new to report there. It’s not all that hard for me anymore even with the advanced positions. Tonight’s Back & Biceps workout was exhausting. My arms were like jelly afterwards and I could barely bring my dinner to my mouth. 10 more days to go!

Day 79: Plyometrics

This was my last Plyometrics workout for my first round of P90X. Normally I do this workout after work but since I’m not working today I opted to do it first thing in the morning. It was definitely a different experience since my body didn’t have much fuel in it but I did pretty well. I’m really trying to bring it for these last two weeks and so far I’ve been able to keep the intensity up which has been surprising.

Day 78: Chest, Shoulders & Triceps; Ab Ripper X

Great workout today. I felt strong and had a lot of energy throughout the whole hour. The one disappointing thing about this workout is the one-armed pushup. After all these weeks I still can’t do one of those. I wish it wasn’t in this workout because despite doing great on many of the other types of pushups, this one just isn’t happening for me and kind of makes me feel crappy. Oh well. Someday. I’m not working tomorrow so I’m going to get my Plyometrics workout finished early in the day. I did the ab workout first thing this morning. I feel like I’ve really mastered that one at this point so I must have abs of steel under the remaining layer of flab on my stomach!

Day 77: X Stretch

Zach did most of the stretch hour with me today. Although he kept skipping out saying he was tired. I definitely keep getting more flexible, although I’ll never be able to do some of the things the women in the video do. Tomorrow is the start of the last adaptive/mastery phase followed by a recovery week to close out the 90 days. I really want to bring it this week and get the most out of it.

Day 76: Kenpo X

My body is definitely tired. This workout is normally pretty easy for me today but I was pretty tired throughout. Plus my legs and glutes were a bit sore from yesterday’s workout. Two weeks left until I complete my first round! I can’t wait. I plan on taking about a week or two off, maybe with some stretch days, jogging, yoga to keep busy. But mostly rest. Speaking of rest, tomorrow is X Stretch. That will feel SOOOO good.
